MQ-4 natural gas detection sensor
The gas-sensitive material used in the MQ-4 natural gas sensor (gas sensor) is tin dioxide (SnO2), which has a relatively low electrical conductivity in clean air. When there are flammable gases in the environment where the natural gas sensor is located, the electrical conductivity of the natural gas sensor increases with the increase of the concentration of flammable gases in the air. A simple circuit can be used to convert the change in electrical conductivity into an output signal corresponding to the concentration of the gas. The MQ-4 natural gas sensor has high sensitivity to methane and strong anti-interference ability against alcohol and some other interfering gases.
