ME2-C2H5OH-Ф16 electrochemical sensor detects gas concentration by measuring current based on electrochemical principles. It uses the process of electrochemical oxidation of the target gas on the working electrode in the electrolytic cell. The current generated by the target gas in the electrochemical reaction is proportional to its concentration. Following Faraday's law, the gas concentration is obtained by measuring the current.
