Product Description:
SS41F All-Pole Low-Power Hall Switch Digital Hall Effect Device
Features:
SS41F and SS41G are small, universal digital Hall effect devices operated by the magnetic fields of permanent magnets or electromagnets, designed to respond to the alternating North and South Poles. The built-in regulator provides enhanced operational stability within the power supply voltage range of 4.5Vdc to 24Vdc. The internal circuit is designed to prevent sensor damage when the polarity of the power supply voltage is unexpectedly reversed. Open-circuit collector absorption of output voltage can be easily connected to various electronic circuits. SS41F was factory tested at 25°C[77°F], and SS41G was factory tested at both 25°C[77°F] and 125°C[257°F]. Both of these products are designed for high-capacity applications. These products come in one package form: SS41F, SS41G Flat TO-92 type package, adopting straight-lead bulk package, can achieve a compact PC board layoutSS41F and SS41G are small, universal digital Hall effect devices operated by the magnetic fields of permanent magnets or electromagnets, designed to respond to the alternating North and South Poles. Honeywell's magnetoresistive (MR) sensor is the most sensitive low-magnetic field solid-state magnetic sensor on the market, which can be used to measure the direction and magnitude of the magnetic field from 70 mG (7 nT) to 6 G (0.6 mT). Honeywell's magnetoresistive sensor can determine the changes in the Earth's magnetic field caused by the presence of ferromagnetic objects or the position of ferromagnetic objects within the Earth's magnetic field. High bandwidth can be utilized to detect high-speed moving vehicles and other iron-containing objects. These sensors adopt a non-contact design, and the working distance depends on the ferromagnetic mass being measured.
Honeywell Hall magnetic sensor product series play a significant role in multiple fields such as industrial automation, automotive electronics, and medical equipment. The following is a detailed overview of this series of products
As a leader in sensor technology, Honeywell's Hall magnetic sensor product series adopts the advanced Hall effect principle, detecting parameters such as the position, speed and direction of an object by measuring changes in the magnetic field. These sensors feature high precision, high sensitivity, low power consumption and stable reliability, and are capable of meeting the demands of various complex application scenarios.
Ii. Main Features
High-precision measurement
Honeywell Hall magnetic sensors can precisely measure the changes in the magnetic field, thereby achieving accurate detection of the position of objects. This high-precision measurement characteristic gives sensors significant advantages in positioning, navigation and control systems in industrial automation.
High sensitivity
This series of sensors have extremely high sensitivity and are capable of detecting weak changes in the magnetic field. This characteristic enables the sensor to perform well in aspects such as speed sensors and position sensors in automotive electronics, accurately reflecting the movement state of the vehicle.
Low power consumption
Honeywell Hall magnetic sensors adopt a low-power design and can maintain stable performance during long-term use. This low power consumption feature makes the sensor have broad application prospects in portable devices, mobile devices and other fields.
Stable and reliable
This series of sensors is manufactured with advanced materials and processes, featuring excellent stability and reliability. Even in harsh working environments, the sensor can maintain stable performance to ensure the normal operation of the system.
Three, product classification
Honeywell Hall magnetic sensor product series include various types to meet the needs of different application scenarios. The main classifications are as follows:
Single-pole Hall sensor
It is suitable for detecting the direction and intensity of the magnetic field and is often used for switch output.
Bipolar Hall sensor
It can detect the direction and polarity of the magnetic field and is suitable for application scenarios where the direction of the magnetic field needs to be distinguished.
Pole Hall sensor
It can respond to magnetic field changes in any direction and is suitable for application scenarios where magnetic field changes need to be detected but directions do not need to be distinguished.
Linear Hall sensor
It can output an analog signal proportional to the magnetic field intensity and is suitable for application scenarios that require precise measurement of magnetic field intensity.
Lock Hall sensor
It has a magnetic retention function. When the magnetic field disappears, the sensor can still maintain its original state, making it suitable for application scenarios that require memory of the magnetic field state.
