Product Description:
SS496B Linear Hall Sensor Is Used For Electric Bicycles
Features:
SS496B series cost-reducing miniature proportional linear Hall effect sensors; Surface mount
The SS496B series MRL (Miniature Proportional Linear) sensor is a multifunctional linear Hall effect device that can be operated by the magnetic field of a permanent magnet or an electromagnet. The proportional output voltage is set by the power supply voltage. It varies proportionally with the magnetic field intensity. Integrated circuits offer higher temperature stability and sensitivity. The laser-fine-tuned thin-film resistor on the chip offers high precision (zero to 3%, with a sensitivity up to 3%) and temperature compensation. The positive temperature coefficient of the sensitivity (typically + 0.02% / C) compensates for the negative temperature coefficient of the low-cost magnet.
The SS496B series sensors offer cost-effective MRL sensing and have slightly higher specifications than the SS490 products. The SS490B features a continuous typical input or pull output of 1.5 mA and operates at a supply current of 7 mA at 5.0 V at 25 ° C to achieve predictable performance across the entire temperature range. The SS490B series sensors feature zero position and sensitivity tolerances, which vary with temperature.
