Used for detecting carbon dioxide within the ppm and % volume range.

Dynament Infrared Sensor utilizes the NDIR principle to monitor the presence of target gases. This sensor contains a long-life tungsten filament infrared light source, an optical cavity for gas diffusion,

a dual-temperature compensated thermoelectric infrared detector, an integrating semiconductor temperature sensor, and electronic equipment to process the signals from the thermoelectric device.

A dual-gas version is available, designed to detect both hydrocarbons and carbon dioxide. The 20mm diameter packaging is for the carbon dioxide sensor, and the dual sensors can be used with digital communication.

Dynament Carbon Dioxide Sensor CO2 Sensor MSH-P/CO2 Features:

• Provides 3 power variants: 80mA, 15mA, and 8mA

• Industrial Ex d IIC certification and mining M1 certification are available for all variants

• SIL1 certification is available for most variants

• Measures carbon dioxide from 0 to 10,000 ppm, with a resolution of 10 ppm

• Measures carbon dioxide from 0 to 100% vol. with a resolution as low as 0.01%

• Shortens response time compared to earlier versions

• Output format options - digital output (floating point and binary), direct pellistor replacement or industry standard 0.4 to 2 volts

• Manual calibration option can be performed without digital commands

• User-configurable using a USB-powered Premier Configuration Unit

• Output can be scaled by % volume or % full scale
