TGS2602-B00 High Sensitivity Gas Sensor For Air - Contaminant Detection
Sensing Principle:
The sensing element is composed of a metal - oxide semiconductor layer formed on the alumina substrate of a sensing chip and an integrated heater. When the detectable gas exists, the conductivity of the sensor increases with the increase of the gas concentration in the air. A simple electrical circuit can convert the conductivity change into an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration.
Basic Measuring Circuit:
The sensor requires two - voltage inputs, namely heater voltage (VH) and circuit voltage (VC). The heater voltage is applied to the integrated heater, and the circuit voltage is used to measure the voltage across the load resistor connected in series with the sensor. DC voltage is required for the circuit voltage, and the sensor has polarity.
