II. Working Principle

It adopts the three-electrode electrochemical principle: SO₂ undergoes oxidation/reduction reactions at the working electrode, generating a weak current proportional to the concentration, which is amplified by the circuit and output as a concentration signal; no heating is required, and the power consumption is extremely low, making it suitable for portable and fixed equipment.
