III. Working Principle
It belongs to a Galvanic electrochemical oxygen sensor:
Oxygen passes through the breathable membrane into the electrolyte, and undergoes a reduction reaction at the catalytic cathode. The anode simultaneously oxidizes and releases electrons, and the magnitude of the current generated by the circuit is strictly linearly corresponding to the oxygen concentration; The instrument collects mV signals and converts them into oxygen content, which is used for boiler combustion efficiency calculation (excess air coefficient λ).
