1. Core Working Principle:

The MS-Z302 is based on the polymer humidity-sensitive material principle. Its sensing element is made of a hydrophilic polymer film with conductive particles embedded inside.

  • In a high-humidity environment, the polymer film absorbs water vapor, causing the conductive particles to disperse and the sensor’s resistance to increase significantly.
  • In a low-humidity environment, the polymer film releases water vapor, making the conductive particles aggregate closely, and the sensor’s resistance decreases accordingly.
  • The resistance value of the sensor has a stable logarithmic relationship with relative humidity (RH). By measuring the resistance change and converting it through a signal conditioning circuit, accurate relative humidity values can be obtained.
