Features:

NovaSensor NPI-15 series of current-driven, dielectric isolated high-voltage sensors are designed to operate in harsh environments with silicon sensor sensitivity, linearity and hysteresis. They use advanced IsoSensor technology to provide high performance for OEM users. The piezoresistive sensor chip is installed in a cylindrical cavity filled with fluid and is isolated from the measured medium by a stainless steel diaphragm and body. Like all NovaSensor silicon sensors, the NPI-15 series uses SenStable® processing technology to provide stability.

 

To compensate for the temperature effect a network of resistors is provided on a hybrid ceramic substrate. The IsoSensor design minimizes temperature errors to provide an offset error of 0.75% FSO over the compensation range of 32°F to 158°F (0°C to 70°C).

 

The NovaSensor NPI-15VC series voltage compensation, dielectric isolation high voltage sensor has the performance of current compensation sensor, and the use of voltage power supply is very convenient. Voltage compensation allows the sensor to be connected directly to the power supply, eliminating the additional components needed to build a constant current source. These sensors are field interchangeable with calibrated 100 mV ± 1% FSO.
