Y1964 xenon lamp
• Basic principle: Various chemical gases are filled in the UV-Cut anti-ultraviolet crystal quartz glass tube, mainly inert gases such as xenon and iodide. The 12V or 24V low-voltage DC voltage on the vehicle is instantly raised to over 20KV through the starter. The electrodes at both ends of the bulb are instantaneously discharged under high voltage, causing xenon electrons to ionize and generate a white super-strong arc light. The voltage stabilizer then stabilizes the voltage at 85V to maintain the bulb's stable illumination.
• Product Features
◦ High brightness: Compared with the general 55w halogen lamp which can only produce 1000 lumens of light, the brightness of xenon lamps can reach 3200 lumens, which is three times that of halogen lamps. They can illuminate higher, wider and farther.
◦ High color temperature: It can produce light with a color temperature of 4000-12000K, close to the color of midday sunlight. It has a high acceptance and comfort level for the human eye and can reduce visual fatigue for drivers.
◦ Long lifespan: Utilizing electrons to excite gas to emit light without tungsten filaments, the lifespan of a set of HID gas discharge lamps is approximately 3,000 hours.
◦ Low power consumption: The power is generally 35w, which is only about half of the 55w of a common car lamp, reducing the burden on the car's power system and saving energy.
◦ Good emergency response: When there is a power supply problem in the power system, the xenon lamp will be delayed for a few seconds before going out, giving the driver time to handle the emergency.
• Constituent components
◦ Bulbs: Common xenon bulbs include models such as D2S and D2R. D2S is used in projection headlights to achieve low beam function, while D2R is used in reflective headlights to achieve both high and low beam function.
Starter: It generates a starting voltage of over 20KV by using the battery voltage to activate inert gas and start the xenon lamp.
◦ Voltage stabilizer: After the xenon lamp starts up stably, it continuously provides a power supply voltage of 85V to maintain the constant power operation of the vehicle lamp.
◦ Level adjustment device: Automatically adjusts the height of the light to ensure it always illuminates the road surface, preventing oncoming vehicles from being dazzled when meeting.
